Program Description: The Finance and Accounting Division is responsible for the accounting activities of the General Fund, Golf and Restaurant Fund, and the Water and Sewer Utility Fund. The activities include treasury and revenue collections, accounting and auditing, performance budgeting, customer billing, management information systems, and centralized purchasing.
In FY 2005, staff will continue to work with the District team toward the goals established by the Board of Supervisors for the District. We will achieve these goals by working diligently to serve all our customers (both internal and external) with strong ethics, professionalism, and exceptional service. By cross-training and learning from each other (and from outside sources) we will continue to upgrade our skills and experiences to create a greater aggregate human knowledge base from which we will serve all our customers.
