Mission : The mission of the Sun ‘n Lake Golf Operation is to provide members and guests at all skill levels with a distinctive and enjoyable golf experience and to also encourage maximum participation by promoting the lifelong pursuit of active, healthy lifestyles and enhancing the leisure habits of residents of Sun ‘n Lake of Sebring Improvement District and surrounding communities.

Program Description:  The cornerstone of an enjoyable golf experience is superior golf course conditions coupled with excellent facilities and professional staff.  Services provided to members and guests by golf operations staff include professional tournament management, handicap administration, golf car management, teaching programs, and a full range of merchandise in the golf pro shop.  The mission is met by providing unparalleled service to club members, their families, and guests.  As golf operations staff carry out their duties, they are innovative and professional at all times, focused on teamwork, and continually practice financial responsibility to realize success. 

In FY 2005, the golf operation team will seek to generate additional revenues by targeting three major areas.  Firstly, we will finally achieve realistic profit margins in the golf shop now that our inventory is under control.  Secondly, we will improve the driving range bottom line by improving conditions and a better allocation of how both memberships and individual buckets are sold.  Finally, we are in the process of improving our marketing and advertising with resorts and hotels to better attract the high dollar per round golfer.  These goals will be met by a professional team that performs everyday duties without losing sight of the "big picture."
