Mission :  The mission of the Recreation and Leisure Services Division is to provide quality services, facilities, programs and opportunities for the positive development, enhancement and well-being of the community and quality of life for all residents

Program Description:  The division will strive to provide a year-round recreation and leisure program to ensure a positive quality of life for all residents to enjoy while working in cooperation with other service providers in the community to maximize all available resources.  The division will also provide environmental stewardship to enhance the physical, cultural, and social well-being of the community

The division is responsible for maintaining the community center, island pavilion, swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts and associated restrooms.

In FY 2005, the division will increase the quantity and quality of programs and events, work to bring all members of the community together, and develop a master recreation plan to assist with future endeavors.
